FORGE YOUR OWN ADVENTURE:
Every day you may be told where to go and what to do when it comes to entertainment, work, and maybe even your home life. No sense of adventure and no sense of danger.
Well, let's just say that's not the case here. You will very much be in danger and have to fend for yourself.
At the starting line, we will give you some of what we're going to call “training”? But hopefully enough knowledge to where you will understand how to ride and hopefully maintain your newfound mode of transportation.
We will provide you with a loose map of the area with very little direction and suggestions. Your only task is to complete the loop of locations using whatever roads or interconnected trails you choose to traverse ending back at the starting location within 7 days.
If you choose to conquer it solo or if you choose to put together a group of friends it will be up to you as to where and when you want to start and stop. Eat lunch or get gas. Camp or find the next town to sleep. Or whether or not you should wipe your ass with that leaf. You'll not have a guide with you telling you what to do or where to go. You are not going to have a mechanic, a medic, or a shoulder to cry on unless you bring it with you.
The Adventureman's Guild will not be responsible for any legal requirements needed for operating a motorcycle on US roadways or off-road trail systems imposed on you by your home country, state, or the state of Colorado. It is in your best interest to make sure you are in compliance with any laws that apply. With that, we are giving participants the following recommendations.
Participants must be 18 years of age or older
Participants must be active Guild Members
Participants must have a valid driver's license and motorcycle endorsement.
Participants are encouraged to have proper insurance and register/plate their motorcycles in accordance with their home state's laws and in compliance with the state of Colorado.
Participants are encouraged to have any necessary off-road permits required by the state of Colorado.
Participants are encouraged to provide and wear a DOT-approved helmet.
We strongly recommend that you purchase adequate travel insurance including Medical, Evacuation, and Repatriation coverage and that you extend your coverage to include Trip Cancellation. Be sure your travel insurance covers you for exactly what you are doing and exactly where you are going.
