November 19th - 23rd in Lake County Michigan
This will be a Steelhead fishing event. If you have never fished do not worry we are making plans to allow everyone a bit of structure to learn and enjoy the sport.
It will be both Steelhead and Deer season.
*If you plan to hunt this will be an extra activity you will embark on alone and you must be an experienced hunter and have taken a hunter's safety course to participate.
The focus of this outing is fishing and all official activities will be centered around that.Â
This is a Guild Member-only Event and we are limited 15 spots available.
The property includes 5 acres of serene wooded views and about 300 feet of riverfront property on the Pere Marquette river where fishing is open year-round. Across the street are several acres of US Forest Service land open for public hunting. Located nearby are several ATV trails, hiking trails, and river access points for canoe or kayak rental. There is a full-size grocery store about 2 miles away for any essentials and a nearby gas station. The town of Baldwin is about 5 miles away offering a variety of restaurants, shops, and nature trails. Ludington is approximately a 35-minute drive West.

   * Beds will be limited and everyone should plan for fall tent camping. If there are subzero nights or bad weather, the floor is always an option and arrangements will be made if needed.
Some fishing gear, kayaks, and canoes will be available but it is recommended to have your own gear if possible.
All participants are responsible for their own fishing and/or hunting permits.Â

Pere Marquette River Fishing Guides  (This is highly encouraged but not required.)
This is Michigan’s premier fly fishing experience. Fishing for salmon, steelhead, and brown trout on the Big Manistee River and Michigan’s blue-ribbon trout stream the Pere Marquette River. Expert Pere Marquette river guides will take you on a fishing adventure that you will never forget. Full day trip includes all fishing tackle, grilled shore lunch, and cold beverages.

On confirmation for camping purchase, we will reach out to those interested in the order of purchase. This will be first come first serve and waitlist after 10 people.
* Remember we cannot control the weather or fishing conditions. Clients are responsible to bring waders, sunglasses, rain gear, and appropriate clothing for weather conditions. There is never too much clothing to keep yourself warm and comfortable.
