About the Event
Cliff Robinson is hosting a weekend gathering for the opening of trout season at his family’s cabin on the Little South Branch of the Pere Marquette River, a Blue Ribbon trout stream known for Brown and Rainbow trout. The river runs right behind the property, so you can literally walk out the back door and start fishing.
The property also includes a Finnish-style sauna on the bank of the river, which doubles as a cold plunge. The cabin sits near the Manistee National Forest, with plenty of nearby trails that are perfect for a monkey bike ride.
Cost is $50 per person, paid directly to Cliff upon arrival. This covers the cleaning fee, breakfasts, Saturday dinner, and snacks for the weekend.
Accommodations are simple and first-come, first-served:
5 open beds in the bunkhouse
2 couches
