• Participants are responsible for all other expenses and travel costs including visa and other fees.

RIDER REQUIREMENTS: The Adventureman's Guild will not be responsible for any legal requirements needed for operating a motorcycle on US roadways or off-road trail systems imposed on you by your home country, state, or the state of Michigan. It is in your best interest to make sure you are in compliance with any laws that apply. With that, we are giving participants the following recommendations. Participants must have a valid driver's license and motorcycle endorsement. Participants are encouraged to have proper insurance and register/plate their motorcycles in accordance with their home state's laws and in compliance with the state of Michigan. Participants are encouraged to have any necessary off-road permits required by the state of Michigan. Participants are encouraged to provide and wear a DOT-approved helmet. Participants are responsible for making their own arrangements for the transportation of their Monkey Bike to and from the start/finish staging area.

MONKEY BIKE REQUIREMENTS: Participants are required to operate motorbikes that do not exceed the capability, reliability, and manufacturing quality of our inferior and substandard Monkey Bikes.

If you have already participated in the Great American monkey 1000 then you're in luck. You know all too well what to expect from your steed.

We are working diligently to have the ability to offer participants an official TAG 1000 monkey bike but as we are dealing with supply chain issues we are opening up the ability for you to obtain your own terrible motive transportation.

All motorbikes must meet the following specifications

Must be either a Chinese clone or vintage original CT70 Dax or Z50 Monkey/Gorilla body styles only Engines may not exceed 125 cc Engines must be carbureted Bottom line no brand new designed pit bikes or fresh off the assembly line Honda monkey bikes with fuel injection and ABS brakes.
